About Nepad Trading
Nepad Trading 102 Pty Ltd is a wholly owned South African trading conglomerate focused on the manufacture, importation and distribution of medical equipment, instruments and consumables to an assortment of institutions including private and public hospitals, clinics and laboratories and educational institutions in South Africa and across the African continent.
We distribute original German and Italian manufactured medical equipment produced in terms of CE certification standards through our distributor arrangements with six German based and two Italian based manufacturers of high quality products. Our arrangements with these manufacturers also enable us to manufacture certain types of medical equipment and instruments upon request to customer specifications. Our motto is never to compromise on health matters. As such we only source from the best and most reputable.
Since most high-end medical equipment and instruments are imported into South Africa and Africa, we work with manufacturers certified under the stringent European Union (EU) CE standards. But where products are either produced locally or can be produced locally in line with the demanding quality standards of our international manufacturers, we vigorously support local production and sourcing to enhance the South African economy and create more jobs while guaranteeing quick lead supply times and full back up warranties and maintenance services to our clientele in South Africa and other African countries.
Our Flagship Projects
Among our flagship projects are the multi-million dollar contracts we got from the Japan International Cooperation System (JCIS) to equip various public institutions in Lesotho. We completed the work timeously, within budgets and in accordance with the JCIS’s stringent quality procurement and installation standards. We also rose to the occasion when we were contracted directly by the Lesotho government to equip from scratch various new public health institutions located in remote areas of the Lesotho Highlands with everything from equipment, instruments and consumables under multi-million dollar contracts funded by the donor agencies, Irish Aid International and the European Union. Our long standing distributor arrangements with reputable manufacturers and our experience as an international buying house ensures that we source the best and supply at the most competitive prices.
